New Teams Announced

Landmark year as 19 teams based across the UK get to work!

This year’s Tranzfuser teams have today been announced with all graduate teams demonstrating clear potential as worthy contenders for support from the UK Games Fund at the end of the summer.

The 2023 cohort make up the talented, passionate and entrepreneurial line up of studios that now have the support to focus on the commercial development of their own IP project with the biggest package of support in Tranzfuser history.
With a prize of £7,500, one-to-one facilitation from an industry professional as well as being enrolled on a tailored programme of business skills development the studios will work independently on their games over the new few months in advance of taking a playable demo to a large-scale consumer facing games show.
F.A.R Game Studios’ team leader said:

Our team is ecstatic about taking part in this potentially life changing program. Just to be given the opportunity to compete in Tranzfuser is going to be astonishing.

The teams will have, as ever, the support base – if needed – of our UK-wide network of Local Hubs. New to 2023, the Tranzfuser Virtual Hub will act as a remote focal point for the successful teams that elected to apply to that Hub.

Tapping into the community of the UK Games Fund portfolio, the teams will be matched with hand-picked indie devs that can offer the best advice and encouragement over the course of the summer.

As if that were not all, as Tranzfuser draws to a close in anticipation of the showcase event all studios will have the opportunity to apply for the hugely impactful DunDev residential project on top of the straight-to-funding UK Games Fund pitch selected teams will be invited to submit.
