DunDev Week 2
As the four studios reach the halfway point, we reflect on a busy week at DunDev.
Fresh from a weekend of absorbing all of the learning, new experiences and beautiful Scottish winter weather of their first few days in Dundee, the studios hit the office on Monday ready to roll up their sleeves and make the most of their time in week 2.
This week saw the focus of DunDev center on supporting the studios look at their identity as developers and who they are as founders.
With support from Blackadders and Henderson Loggie, the companies were able to ask those at the top of their games about any queries relating to important operational aspects of running a business.
UK Games Fund portfolio companies HyperLuminal Games and Polygon Treehouse shared their extensive expertise with each DunDev studio on an individual basis, with each drawing on their years’ in industry to best advise on the most suitable path to success.
The week wrapped up with an in-house review of gameplay as well as a UKGTF-led session with Deborah Farley, bringing together all studio members for a Founders Focus workshop.
Week 3 is already fast drawing near and we continue to be impressed by our DunDev 2024 studios!
