Practice Pitching in Dundee
The Tranzfuser teams will descend on Scotland’s third largest – and sunniest – city this weekend to hone their pitching skills.
With the grand finale to this year’s Tranzfuser competition – EGX – being a matter of weeks away, the 22 entrepreneurial graduate game dev teams were invited to attend a face-to-face skills development event.
Each team will pitch their games in an industry-standard style event , with equal time to ‘pitch’ to industry professionals from across the sector. Those listening to the pitches come from varied sector backgrounds, with representatives from stellar indie studios, commercial expertise and publishing professionals.
The Practice Pitch event is one that the Tranzfuser team have run consistently in previous years, having found the value of such an experience translating to greater success further down the line.
Deborah Farley, Head of Talent and Impact, said:
“Welcoming the Tranzfuser 2022 teams to the city of Dundee for an intensive but hugely rewarding event is fantastic. We know from past experience that the take aways for the pitching teams as they get exclusive direct feedback on their game from industry professionals are invaluable; lessons will be learned, skills will be sharpened and long-lasting connections will be made. We look forward to meeting the teams face-to-face!”
