Tranzfuser, the greatest hits
Wrapping up 2023, we look back on a hugely successful year with Tranzfuser teams raising the bar for entrepreneurial indie game dev teams making their mark in the industry.
Deborah Farley, Head of Foundership at UK Games Talent and Finance CIC, said:
“Tranzfuser started life in 2016, with the aim to identify, highlight and showcase the hugely promising entrepreneurial graduate talent base in the UK by working with individuals and teams looking to take their first steps to setting up a sustainable indie game dev studio.”
Over the past 8 years we have had the privilege of working with more than 700 entrepreneurial individuals as they have dared to forge their own path, figuring out the twists and turns of this hugely creative industry, inspiring many others on their way to success.”
So far, we have seen teams go on to:
- Release their Tranzfuser game IP
- Secure publisher deals
- Run successful crowd funding campaigns
- Set up a work for hire studio
- Work with Tranzfuser alumni studios
Hear directly from Daniel Wiltshire, Alarming Ladder Studios, about the impact that Tranzfuser had on his indie dev journey to date.
Key to Programme Success
Tranzfuser’s key to success is the network of Local Hubs and industry partners we work with to provide a solid base on which the annual intake of teams can rely upon year in, year out.
We recognise that our community has contributed greatly to graduates being able to access this opportunity and we want to say a huge thank you to the growing network of Hubs and partners.
Looking forward…our next stop is at Global Game Jam (22 – 28 January 2024). We will be announcing our own diversifier again this year so stay tuned for our reveal…
The Tranzfuser team will also have had a new addition for the new year as we welcome our newest member to the team, Tilda Watson!
Tranzfuser 2024 is already shaping up to be the best yet! We’ll open for applications in the springtime with more information to come soon.
