Showcase success at Insomnia Gaming Festival
The Tranzfuser 2023 teams excelled at the NEC as part of the Insomnia Gaming Festival!
The talented cohort of entrepreneurial graduate game dev teams came together for the 3-day games show at Birmingham’s NEC, taking their exciting projects to the game-playing public.
As well as having their projects put to the test by the crowds at the NEC, the teams also had the opportunity to learn from the UK Games Fund team of industry experts as they play tested the games on the stand, sharing professional advice and insightful feedback on site.
Making the most of the teams coming together, the Tranzfuser organisers ran a ‘practice pitch’ event with each team having the chance to speak directly with publishers, industry veterans, past Tranzfuser studios and the UK Games Fund team.
This event allows the teams to practice the skill of pitching in a safe environment, giving them the opportunity to learn as they go and refine their pitch ahead of the shortlisted teams from this year’s competition being invited to formally interview for UK Games Fund grant support.
This year’s Tranzfuser winners will be announced in due course, but all teams that took part in the 2023 programme are commended for their passion, enthusiasm, dedication and engagement in what has proven to be another stellar year for the graduate talent of the UK Gaming sector!
