We are a small but mighty crew featuring two brilliant technical designers with a standout 3D artist driving our game development forward. We are based in the Northeast of England and during our time at Teesside University we worked alongside each other on various projects.
Forming this team is more than just making games, we are striving to create a fresh and creative company environment where developers can thrive to build games with the right intent. Tranzfuser gives us the unique stepping stone to kickstart our journey as a team. The programme will help guide us within the industry providing invaluable feedback and opportunities.
About the project
Koopa and Kiko is a 3D puzzle platformer where you dynamically swap between Koopa the turtle—grounded and heavy on land but extremely mobile in water—and Kiko the seagull, who is agile in the air but unable to go underwater. Set on a once-peaceful tropical island now threatened by a corrupt force, the story follows Koopa, a stubborn turtle, and Kiko, a mischievous seagull, who are bound together by an ancient turtle spirit. Warned that only unity can save their home, they must overcome their differences to stop the looming danger.
With a low-poly, cozy aesthetic and a strong emphasis on environmental puzzle-solving, Koopa and Kiko challenges players to think dynamically. The game is developed for PC with full controller support.

We applied to Tranzfuser because it offers a rare opportunity for early-stage teams like ours to turn passion into a sustainable studio. As a new collective, we’re eager to grow not just our project, but our skills in leadership, production, and collaboration. Tranzfuser gives us access to mentorship, structure, and real industry feedback—things that are invaluable at this stage of our journey. It’s a chance to build trust and rhythm as a team while learning what it truly takes to bring a game to market. We see it as the bridge between student projects and professional development, and we’re excited to rise to the challenge together.
