We’re all graduates of the University of Staffordshire London, and over the past two years, have all had unique experiences afterwards. Our team leader has been a re-elected Full-Time Student Union Officer, our artist has worked as a technician for New City College, and our Producer has worked for our university as an industry coordinator. We’ve all kept in touch over the years whilst watching each other progress and grow, but not in games industry itself. All of us want to make games as it’s what we are truly passionate about, but we haven’t had the chance to so far.
Tranzfuser is an unparalleled opportunity to start our industry journey, and create something truly special, as it provides us the development time, business knowledge, and exposure to the industry which we need to kickstart our indie studio!
About the project
We are developing a cosy game that utilises the world building and art direction of Breath of the Wild combined with the character development and social interactions of Stardew Valley.
Your objective is to explore the island whilst collecting unique flowers from each biome along the way! Using all the collected flowers, you can then create your own bouquets in 3D space. Gift them to the villagers to complete missions, build friendships, fill in your encyclopedia, and discover ancient tech scattered throughout the island.
Make sure not to pick too many flowers though, as the island’s ecosystem will suffer if you over-harvest, rewarding the player for being ecologically conscious.
Our target audience are “cosy gamers”, we targeted these players so our game will appeal to a wide audience and increase our likelihood to generate more sales, allowing us to continue future development. (We all also really enjoy playing cosy games)

Several months ago I met with a Tranzfuser team from last year and they talked about how it helped them get a foothold in the industry as an indie studio. It felt like a lightbulb had switched on, and I suddenly knew what I wanted to do going forward, as I already had a game concept which I was quite passionate about.I then reached out to the two most trustworthy and professional graduates from my year, who were also looking for their first break into the games industry, they were eager to join the project, and everything started to fall into place.Tranzfuser provides all of us with the opportunity to shape our own career going forwards, create games we are truly passionate about, which we think people will enjoy, and to provide an initial step/placement for games students wanting to break into the industry in the future!
