Astral Forge is made up of a team of graduates from the University of Staffordshire and we are working to create immersive story-driven worlds for our players to explore and enjoy. We are a group of friends striving to put their mark on the games industry through our passion and dedication to the craft. Our team consists of programmers, designers, animators, artists, and more who are all experts in their area and are excited to show what they can do in a professional setting.
We hope that Tranzfuser will bring expert advice and guidance for our company and provide us with the opportunity to solely dedicate our time to our project. The funding from Tranzfuser will be invaluable with allowing us to use professional software so that, as a team, we can show our proficiency and skill on what we create now and what we will create in the future.
About the project
Fate’s Loop is our upcoming souls-like RPG game. It is a stylised medieval fantasy adventure where you play as Thalor, a retired hero who must save their village from a time loop curse.
This 3rd person action-adventure will have the players exploring the village, completing unique quests, building relationships with the villagers, solving mysteries, fighting monsters, and more. However, as the town is stuck in a time-loop, once the in-game clock hits midnight the day resets and the player will lose any items that they haven’t enchanted so they must plan wisely what they keep and what they are prepared to lose in order to save the village.
Fate’s Loop is targeted towards young adults and above and will aim to achieve a PEGI rating of 16. The game will be playable on PC in winter 2026 with the potential for a later console release.

We applied to the Tranzfuser programme as it will provide our dedicated and ambitious team with the ideal beginnings to succeed by creating the groundwork for the future development of our project and our company. It will enable us to have vital access to expert industry and business advice, as well as funding for widely recognised professional software. This allows us to fulfil our ambitions of becoming a well-regarded and professional games studio and showcase the skill of our team. Tranzfuser will also give us the opportunity to promote our studio and current project to other potential investors and customers therefore giving us a head start to a successful business.
