We are a team of graduates from Teesside University, all based in the Teesside area. Our shared background in game development and creative media brought us together during our studies, where we discovered a strong collaborative dynamic and a mutual passion for creating innovative, player-focused experiences. We’ve continued working together post-graduation to develop our skills and turn our shared ideas into commercially viable projects. Participating in Tranzfuser offers us a valuable opportunity to gain industry exposure, receive structured support, and validate our project in a real-world context.
We hope the experience will strengthen our understanding of the business side of game development, help us build a sustainable studio, and connect us with industry professionals who can guide us on our journey. Ultimately, we aim to establish ourselves in the UK games industry and contribute to the growing creative sector in the Teesside region.
About the project
Shores of Hope is a single player story driven fishing game set in the 19th century. Peter, the son of a late fishing legend, must take his fathers place to keep a small town satisfied bringing in new and exotic fish, by Exploring the surrounding ocean. The story is based around grief and loss and how the friendships we make along the way help us to work through that grief and loss.

Applying to Tranzfuser was a natural step for us as a newly formed team of graduates looking to transition from education into the professional games industry. The opportunity offers a structured, supportive environment where we can grow not just as developers, but as a cohesive, studio-ready team. Tranzfuser allows us to develop our communication, project management, and business skills in a real-world setting—something that’s difficult to achieve outside of industry contexts. It's a chance to test our working dynamics under pressure, receive honest feedback from experienced professionals, and build the resilience and adaptability needed to succeed long-term. We’re excited to represent Teesside’s growing creative talent and prove that new graduates can form the foundations of sustainable game studios. This experience will be pivotal in shaping our identity as a team and setting the direction for our future in the UK games industry.
