The Power of the Community

Funded companies contribute hundreds of hours to Tranzfuser 2025.

Since it launched in 2016, Tranzfuser has tapped into the unique resources of the curated community of funded company expertise to the benefit of the teams of talented graduate game devs that take part in the programme. This year has proven to be particularly successful in marrying the entrepreneurial graduate dev talent with the industry expertise of the UKGF portfolio.

The power of the community has encouraged those with hands-on professional industry experience to engage with Tranzfuser teams; from technical development advice and help, to establishing lasting connections, the support offered and readily taken onboard in this way has proven to be impactful beyond the scope of the competition alone.

Deborah Farley, Head of Foundership Development said: “Tranzfuser has a unique system of support…we engage our UK Games Funded Companies to help the teams as they are going through the programme and getting fund ready. The relationship between UK Games funded companies and the Tranzfuser companies has paid dividends for the teams as they develop their game and business, both during and after the programme.”

For fresh, ambitious Tranzfuser teams, getting involved with established companies in the industry has proven to accelerate professional development.  The Tranzfuser alumni community is far reaching, and those who have been through the programme come out with a wealth of experience and insight to add to their repertoire.

This year, our UKGF community got involved in the following voluntary roles; Application Review, Facilitator, Midway Play tester, Dev Drop In speaker, Games Biz Academy speaker and Pitch Reviewer.

This year’s Tranzfuser saw 55 funded companies engage with the teams; a total of 184 days’ worth of contribution, the equivalent of 6 months!

We want to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to those who have contributed their time this year!
