ProtoPlay a Huge Success!

This year’s teams and their games took to the showfloor at ProtoPlay 2025 with great success!
Billed as the indie game dev festival with more than just games to play, ProtoPlay attracted hundreds of industry experts and game-playing fans from the local area. The 21 Tranzfuser teams were on hand throughout the course of the weekend to engage with players and network with peers.
Returning to Dundee for this year, the new venue of LiveHouse Dundee was the perfect setting for a weekend of pitching, playtesting and fun!
Deborah Farley, Head of Foundership Development at UKGTF said:
“Congratulations to all teams from this year’s programme, we’re thrilled with how ProtoPlay 2025 played out! Welcoming in so many local gamers and contacts from industry on home turf is a fantastic outcome for this year’s Tranzfuser, and is testament to why Dundee is the perfect setting for ProtoPlay 2025. All 21 teams were professional, welcoming and engaged with those who visited their stands over the course of the show and we look forward to working with those selected for further support from UKGTF in the future.”
The outcome of Tranzfuser 2025 will be shared in due course, but in the meantime we want to celebrate the success of another stellar year of supporting the growth of indie game dev talent and applaud our cohort of early stage studios!
Here’s to the future!
